Hyderabad, Asaduddin Owaisi, the President of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), has criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for reinstating Telangana MLA T Raja Singh, who was previously suspended for making derogatory remarks about the prophet Mohammed.
According to a news release by the Kashmir Media Service, Owaisi took to social media platform X to express his disapproval of the BJP’s decision, suggesting that promoting hate speech seems to be a quick route to advancement within the party, especially under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Owaisi’s tweet read, “@narendramodi has rewarded his dear ‘fringe element.’ Quite sure that Nupur Sharma will also get her blessings from the PM. Hate speech is the fastest way to a promotion in Modi’s BJP,” referring to the recent lifting of T Raja Singh’s suspension.
