Islamabad, May 11, 2023 (PPI-OT): Overall law and order situation is under control across the country, following the violent protests by PTI workers after arrest of Imran Khan yesterday. A Punjab government spokesperson said police action is underway against the miscreants attacking government property, police force and law enforcement agencies across the province.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah visited various parts of Karachi today to review law and order situation in the city. Speaking on the occasion, he said no one will be allowed to take law into hands.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the government has taken solid steps to maintain law and order across the province. In Peshawar, security on all entry and exit points has been tightened and crackdown has been launched against the culprits who damaged government installations.
Overall law and order situation is also peaceful across Balochistan. In a statement in Quetta today, Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau said all highways are open for all kind of traffic in the province. He said law enforcement agencies are alert to tackle any kind of emergency situation.
