Islamabad, December 13, 2022 (PPI-OT):An All Parties Hurriyat Conference-AJK delegation headed by Convener Mehmood Ahmed Saghar met OIC Assistant Secretary General, Yousef Aldoubeay, and presented him a memorandum on India’s anti-Kashmiris’ measures in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The delegation apprised OIC Assistant Secretary General Yousef Aldoubeay, who is OIC Special Envoy on Kashmir about some Indian machinations including widespread human rights violations, demographic changes, gerrymandering in the name of delimitation of assembly constituencies and land grab in the territory.
The OIC dignitary was also informed about banning of religious and political organisations and closure of schools putting education of thousands of students at risk. Yousef Aldoubeay reiterated his support to the Kashmir cause and stressed its resolution according to the UN resolutions. The OIC contact group is representing OIC member states and Kashmir is one of the important issues OIC is perusing.
“We will prepare full report on this visit and will submit that report to counsel of foreign ministers,” he assured the APHC-AJK delegation. Prominent representative of Saudi Arabia to OIC Dr Saleh Hamad, Mehmad Metin of Turkey and Nigerian representative were also present in the meeting. Among the APHC-AJK leaders who met the OIC delegation included Mehmood Ahmad Saghar, Syed Faiz Naqshbandi, Syed Yousaf Naseem, Altaf Hussain Wani, Sanaullah Dar, Javaid Ahmed Butt and Nisar Mirza.
