KARACHI: A new feeder shipping service has been inaugurated from Karachi Port to the United Arab Emirates, Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry announced, marking a significant advancement in Pakistan’s transshipment capabilities. The initiative is expected to provide consistent access for Pakistani importers and exporters to international container shipping networks.
According to Radio Pakistan, the service aims to strengthen Karachi Port’s connectivity with important regional hubs. Chairman of Karachi Port Trust Shahid Ahmed noted that this development will support the growing trade requirements of Pakistan, further integrating the nation’s trade infrastructure with key commercial regions.
