Naval Chief Launches Advanced Medical Block at PNS Darmaan Jah


Karachi: Pakistan Navy has reinforced its dedication to improving healthcare for coastal communities with the inauguration of a new block at PNS Darmaan Jah by Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf. The new facility in Ormara is set to enhance medical services along Balochistan’s coastal belt.



The block features advanced medical facilities, including a modern Operation Theatre complex, High Dependency Unit, Intensive Care Unit, Gynaecology Complex, Paediatrics Department, and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This development represents a significant upgrade to the region’s healthcare infrastructure.



PNS Darmaan Jah stands as the sole healthcare institution along the coastal highway between Karachi and Pasni, serving as a crucial medical resource for Ormara and nearby communities.



Admiral Ashraf, speaking at the inauguration, praised the hospital administration’s efforts and reiterated the Navy’s commitment to supporting the coastal population. He highlighted the importance of providing modern and accessible healthcare to underprivileged residents.



The event saw attendance from senior government officials, dignitaries, and Pakistan Navy officers.
