National Conference Calls for Arrest of Yati Narsinghanand After Blasphemous Remarks


Srinagar: The National Conference (NC) has issued a strong demand for the immediate arrest of Yati Narsinghanand following his recent derogatory comments about Prophet Muhammad, which have sparked widespread outrage and protests across various states including Uttar Pradesh.



According to Kashmir Media Service, NC spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar expressed that Narsinghanand’s inflammatory comments have severely hurt the Muslim community and pose a risk of inciting communal unrest. Dar highlighted the urgent need for decisive government action to prevent any further escalation of tensions.



Narsinghanand, who is already known for previous instances of hate speech, faces new charges after his latest remarks led to public demonstrations in Ghaziabad and beyond. Dar urged the authorities to take swift action by arresting Narsinghanand to uphold peace and ensure accountability for such provocative acts.



Additionally, Dar appealed to the public to maintain calm and resist provocations by individuals intent on disrupting societal harmony.
