Islamabad: The nation is set to observe Pakistan Day tomorrow, marking the occasion with a commitment to transform the country into an Islamic and welfare state, echoing the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The day is dedicated to remembering the Lahore Resolution of March 23, 1940, which laid the groundwork for the creation of a separate homeland for Muslims in the subcontinent.

Special prayers will be conducted in mosques following the Fajr prayers, focusing on the progress and prosperity of the nation. In addition, Radio Pakistan and PTV have scheduled special programming to underscore the day’s significance and honor the leaders and workers who contributed to the Pakistan Movement.
