Nation Prepares for Eid-ul-Azha Celebrations with Security and Sanitation Measures in Place


Islamabad: The nation is set to observe Eid-ul-Azha on Wednesday, marking the occasion with religious observance and community activities to honor the sacrifices of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) and Hazrat Ismail (AS). The day will begin with special prayers in mosques across the country, dedicated to the well-being of the Muslim Ummah and the nation’s peace, progress, and prosperity.



According to Radio Pakistan, Eid prayers will be held in mosques, Eidgahs, and open spaces in cities, towns, and villages nationwide. In sermons, religious leaders will emphasize the importance and philosophy behind the sacrifices of Hazrat Ibrahim and Hazrat Ismail (AS). Following the tradition, people will engage in animal sacrifices, following the practices established by Hazrat Ibrahim (AS).



Federal and provincial governments have made comprehensive security plans to prevent any incidents during the festivities. Local administrations in various cities and towns have also organized special measures for the disposal of animal waste and other solid waste throughout the Eid holidays. Radio Pakistan will broadcast special programming in connection with the celebrations.
