Naseerabad: In an unanticipated visit, Deputy Commissioner Munir Ahmed Kakar inspected two local schools, Government Girls Jada Khan Joya and Government Boys Shaheed Sohail Aslam High School, scrutinizing infrastructure issues and the conduct of school operations. Accompanied by KPA Manzoor Ahmad Shirazi, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the attendance of the staff and engaged with students about their learning experiences.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, during the visit, the school principals, Talat Jabin and Muhammad Alam Domki, presented a series of challenges to the Deputy Commissioner. They outlined significant issues including insufficient classrooms, a lack of furniture, incomplete perimeter walls, and water leakage during rainy periods. These conditions suggest a pressing need for infrastructural improvements to create a conducive learning environment.
Deputy Commissioner Kakar also interacted with the students, emphasizing the importance of wearing school uniforms for identity, maintaining cleanliness, and the dedication towards academic pursuits. He stressed the prohibition of mobile phone use during school hours for both teachers and students, directing that the focus should be strictly on educational activities.
Furthermore, the Deputy Commissioner commended the teaching efforts at Shaheed Sohail Aslam Boys High School, noting the positive outcomes of the teachers’ dedication. He encouraged continuous improvement in teaching methodologies, particularly in the English language, to better prepare students for global challenges.
