Islamabad, In a significant move towards enhancing accessibility, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a doorstep delivery service for Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) specifically tailored for people with disabilities. This initiative is aimed at facilitating the CNIC issuance process, making it more convenient and inclusive for individuals facing mobility challenges.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the newly established helpline, 1777, is dedicated to assisting people with disabilities by providing detailed information and support throughout the CNIC application process. This service represents a critical step forward in ensuring that the rights and needs of disabled persons are acknowledged and addressed within the framework of national identification and registration services.
