Muslim World League Secretary-General Visits Pakistan to Strengthen Ties


ISLAMABAD: The Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, Sheikh Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, arrived in Islamabad on an official visit at the invitation of Acting President and Chairman Senate, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani. The visit aims to bolster relations between Pakistan and the Muslim World League, focusing on peace, interfaith harmony, and unity within the Muslim community.



According to Senate of Pakistan, Sheikh Dr. Al-Issa was warmly received by key figures, including Senator Hafiz Abdul Karim, Senator Muhammad Talha Mehmood, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, and the Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan. His itinerary includes high-level meetings with national leaders to discuss cooperation on issues such as religious harmony and tolerance.
