Ministry of Interior Dismisses Claims of Targeted Deportation of Pakistanis

Islamabad: The Ministry of Interior has refuted claims of targeted deportations of Pakistani nationals from any country, including the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The ministry emphasized that no country-specific or sect-specific deportations are being conducted.

According to Radio Pakistan, the ministry issued a statement addressing speculative media reports, particularly on social media, which suggested that Pakistanis were being specifically targeted for deportation from the UAE. The ministry described these reports as false and part of a propaganda effort by certain groups with vested interests.

The statement clarified that any deportations occurring are routine measures in accordance with the respective country’s legal framework, often involving violations such as overstaying visas or illegal documentation. The ministry noted that Pakistani citizens who comply with host country regulations continue to receive work visas and visit permits in the UAE and other nations without facing discrimination.

The Ministry of Interior also asserted that any issues concerning Pakistani nationals abroad are addressed individually through diplomatic channels with the countries involved. The ministry urged the public to disregard misinformation and emphasized that any contrary reports are malicious and fabricated.
