Islamabad: The Ministry of Interior has addressed recent reports circulating in the media, particularly on social media, regarding the alleged targeted deportations of Pakistani nationals from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The ministry has clarified that these reports are unfounded and part of a misleading campaign by certain groups.
According to Press Information Department, the ministry emphasized that no specific deportations based on nationality or sect are taking place from any country, including the UAE. Any deportations that occur are routine and adhere to the host country’s regulations, legal system, and are typically due to violations of local laws or overstaying visas.
The ministry further stated that Pakistani nationals who meet the visa and work requirements of the host country continue to obtain work visas in the UAE and other allied nations without any bias. Reports and social media posts suggesting otherwise are deemed malicious and fabricated, aimed at achieving ulterior motives.
The ministry assured that any issues concerning Pakistani nationals are addressed individually with the respective countries through established diplomatic channels.
