Minister Salik Hussain Opens New International Campus of Pakistan School in Muscat

Muscat: Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Pakistan’s Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, officially inaugurated a new international campus of the Pakistan School in Al-Seeb, Muscat. This latest addition aims to accommodate the growing educational needs of the Pakistani community and other nationalities in Oman.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Pakistan School System, which currently operates seven campuses in Oman serving over 8,500 students in morning and evening shifts, will expand its educational offerings with this state-of-the-art facility. The new campus will educate up to 3,000 students from Kindergarten through A-levels.

During the inaugural ceremony, Minister Hussain highlighted the school’s significant role in fostering an environment of tolerance, understanding, and unity among students of 27 different nationalities. The diversity of the student body exemplifies the high level of trust and respect that Omani residents have for the Pakistan School System.

The expansion was made possible by the Omani government’s allocation of two acres of land to accommodate the growing demand for quality international education provided by the Pakistan School System. The project is expected to be completed within eighteen months, further enhancing the educational landscape for expatriate and local families in Oman.
