Minister Reviews Progress at National Compliance Centre


Islamabad: Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan chaired a session at the National Compliance Centre (NCC) to evaluate the centre’s progress and recent initiatives. During the briefing, Minister Khan discussed NCC’s ongoing efforts with Dr. Nabeel Amin, Head of NCC, and the team.



The session highlighted NCC’s achievements, including a recent visit by a World Bank mission that focused on the National Quality Infrastructure. Dr. Amin emphasized the importance of bolstering Pakistan’s compliance framework to improve trade standards and global competitiveness.



Minister Khan commended these efforts and instructed NCC to devise a strategic roadmap with clear timelines. This roadmap is to be presented at the upcoming National Compliance Advisory Council meeting scheduled for the end of April.



The discussions also covered strategies to enhance Pakistan’s export potential, align with international standards, and foster collaboration with global partners.
