Lahore: Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, expressed satisfaction over the peaceful conduct of the second phase of voting for the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Legislative Assembly. Speaking to reporters after visiting a polling station in Lahore, established for a Kashmiri refugee seat, Tarar emphasized the importance of political rivalry as a fundamental aspect of democracy.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister underscored that political differences should not result in baseless allegations and stressed that any accusations must be backed by evidence. He reiterated that it is ultimately the voters who will determine which party forms the government in AJK.
