Karachi: Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab has extended his congratulations to Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Amjad Hussain on his election as the Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan. He emphasized that Hussain’s election signifies a win for the PPP and democratic values, reflecting the growing trust of the people in the party’s leadership.
According to Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, Mayor Wahab expressed confidence in Hussain’s abilities and leadership skills to guide Gilgit-Baltistan towards progress and governance. He highlighted that, in alignment with the vision of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the region’s journey of public service is expected to strengthen, accelerating public welfare projects.
