Lahore: Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, engaged in a detailed briefing with a 79-member delegation from the Pakistan Air War Course, led by Air Vice Marshal Rashid Habib, to discuss ongoing development projects and future plans for Punjab’s growth. The meeting underscored the provincial government’s commitment to transforming the region’s economy, infrastructure, and educational landscape.

According to a statement by Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif expressed pride in meeting the delegation, emphasizing the significant achievements of the Pakistan Air Force in national defense. She highlighted the role of training and discipline in achieving excellence and shared her respect for the Air Force’s dedication.

The Chief Minister outlined her administration’s comprehensive plans for Punjab’s development, focusing on economic stability and investment opportunities. She noted a marked decrease in inflation and an uptick in foreign investment, particularly from China. Nawaz Sharif also announced the launch of Pakistan’s largest scholarship program, underscoring the importance of merit and education in creating social equality.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister detailed initiatives aimed at improving environmental conditions, such as a new waste management system, and highlighted the introduction of interest-free loans for young entrepreneurs. She also discussed infrastructure projects, including the expansion of public transport and the construction of new healthcare facilities.
