Islamabad: In a display of diplomatic camaraderie, Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim was warmly welcomed upon his arrival at the Prime Minister House in Islamabad this Thursday. The visit marks a significant moment in the bilateral relations between Malaysia and Pakistan, underscoring their continued partnership.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif personally greeted his Malaysian counterpart at the main gate, a gesture symbolizing the close ties between the two nations. During the ceremonious welcome, the Malaysian Prime Minister was honored with a guard of honour by a smartly turned out contingent of the Armed Forces of Pakistan, showcasing the military’s respect and the formal nature of his visit. Following the honors, Prime Minister Sharif introduced Anwar Ibrahim to his cabinet members, facilitating a personal connection that underscores the diplomatic engagement between the two countries.
