Malaysian Prime Minister Commends Pakistan Army’s Contribution to Regional Peace

Islamabad: During a high-level meeting, Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim lauded the Pakistan Armed Forces for their crucial role in maintaining regional peace and stability. The meeting, which included discussions with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir, focused on strengthening military and bilateral relations between the two nations.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Prime Minister Ibrahim highlighted the professionalism and sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces in their efforts against terrorism. He also extended an invitation to General Munir to visit Malaysia, aiming to deepen the military cooperation between the countries. In response, General Munir expressed gratitude for the invitation and commended the ongoing visit’s success, noting its significance in enhancing the long-standing and deep-rooted ties between Pakistan and Malaysia, as well as their military forces.
