Lucknow Man Arrested for Impersonating Muslim and Inciting Hatred in Viral Video

Lucknow, A young Hindu man named Dhirendra Raghav was arrested after he appeared in a viral video wearing a skullcap and impersonating a Muslim, during which he launched verbal attacks against Hindu voters.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the video features Raghav claiming to be a Muslim and disparaging Hindus in Ayodhya, accusing them of duplicity. He provocatively stated that Muslims would have loyally supported a leader like Rahul Gandhi if he had advocated for their causes, such as building a mosque, unlike their purported failure to support Modi despite his efforts.

The video gained attention shortly after the Bharatiya Janata Party’s electoral loss in Ayodhya, a region already fraught with tension following the recent inauguration of the Ram Temple by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the controversial site of the demolished Babri Masjid.

Raghav was taken into custody by the New Agra Police, facing charges related to the provocation of religious unrest and incitement of hatred. The police have emphasized their commitment to maintaining communal peace and their readiness to enforce strict actions against any attempts to fuel hatred and violence.
