Lahore: Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar has reiterated the government’s pledge to uphold equal rights and opportunities for all citizens. In a meeting with Punjab Minister for Minority Affairs Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora, the two officials discussed issues concerning minority rights, interfaith harmony, and the advancement of human rights.
According to Radio Pakistan, both ministers agreed to continue collaborative efforts to safeguard minority rights and promote interfaith harmony. The meeting highlighted the government’s focus on ensuring equitable treatment and fostering a cohesive society where all citizens, regardless of their background, have access to equal opportunities and protections.
