Peshawar, In preparation for the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Local Government Minister Arshad Ayub Khan has mandated the implementation of a comprehensive sanitation plan. The directive aims to ensure top-notch cleanliness services during the religious festivities, reflecting the government’s commitment to public health and environmental standards.
According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the announcement came during a review meeting which focused on health and sanitation issues pertinent to Eid celebrations. Minister Khan emphasized the critical role of satisfactory public services in garnering community support for service fees, linking effective sanitation directly with civic responsibility and government accountability. Additionally, he discussed the ongoing solarization project for tube wells in Kohat, aiming to reduce the financial burden of electricity expenses on the government.
