Kech District Administration Launches Temporary Teacher Recruitment to Address Shortages

Turbat: In an effort to address the teacher shortage across various schools in Kech district, the district administration has initiated a temporary recruitment drive. This move, directed by Deputy Commissioner Kech Ismail Ibrahim, aims to fill vacancies in Single Teacher Schools and other educational institutions within the district.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Deputy Commissioner Ismail Ibrahim has overseen the recruitment of four teachers at Government Boys Middle School Kapkpar, two teachers each at Boys Middle School Mirabad and Boys Middle School Zareen Kahor of UC Padarak, all on a contractual basis. These steps are part of a broader effort to improve educational services in the district by employing locally educated youth, particularly in schools experiencing high student numbers and significant teacher deficits.

Furthermore, the district administration has also focused on improving local healthcare facilities. Deputy Commissioner Ibrahim has facilitated the provision of 14 solar fans to the Mand hospital and a new main gate for the boundary wall of the Balidha Meenaz hospital. These improvements are part of a series of measures aimed at enhancing the quality of life for Kech district residents by addressing urgent issues in both educational and medical institutions.

Deputy Commissioner Ibrahim emphasized his commitment to improving conditions across various sectors in Kech, acknowledging that while the education situation is generally positive, the teacher shortage has posed challenges that the current recruitment drive seeks to mitigate. This initiative not only aims to alleviate immediate staffing concerns but also to provide employment opportunities for the local educated youth, thereby fostering community involvement and development.
