ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Finance Bilal Azhar Kayani has criticized the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for not fulfilling its responsibilities in the ongoing war against terrorism, while emphasizing that no one will be allowed to target state and military installations.
According to Radio Pakistan, Kayani addressed a news conference in Islamabad, stating that the provincial government is failing to address the threat of terrorism and is instead preparing to launch an assault on the capital. He stressed the importance of the provincial government taking ownership in the fight against terrorism, indicating that it is time to remove all obstacles in the effort.
Kayani expressed confidence in achieving victory in the war against terrorism, reaffirming that violence against the state or targeting military facilities will not be tolerated.
