Islamabad, A groundbreaking development in Pakistan’s healthcare sector is underway with the rapid construction of the country’s first National Police Hospital in Islamabad. This 100-bed facility is poised to serve the health needs of both police personnel and the residents of Islamabad.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the construction of the National Police Hospital has been progressing swiftly under the special attention of Prime Minister Anwar ul Haq Kakar. The initiative, spearheaded by the Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan and his team, reflects a significant commitment to the welfare of law enforcement officers and the broader community.
The hospital, currently in its first phase of development with the ground floor construction completed, aims to provide comprehensive healthcare services to approximately 12,000 officers and officials of the Islamabad Capital City Police. Additionally, it will be accessible to the general populace of Islamabad, thereby enhancing the city’s medical infrastructure.
In line with modern energy conservation practices, the hospital will incorporate solar energy solutions to reduce energy costs. This approach demonstrates an environmentally conscious effort in the design and operation of the facility.
The National Police Hospital, upon its initial opening, will offer specialized services across various medical disciplines, including Emergency, Surgical, Orthopedic, General Medicine, Cardiology, Neurology, and several intensive care units. Plans are in place to expand its capacity to 200 beds in the future, indicating a commitment to long-term healthcare provision.
Besides medical services, the hospital will feature residence facilities for doctors and staff, dedicated parking, and air ambulance services, ensuring a state-of-the-art infrastructure for medical and emergency care.
This development marks a significant milestone in Pakistan’s healthcare landscape, highlighting the government’s dedication to providing advanced medical facilities not only for its police force but also for the citizens of Islamabad.
Islamabad, A seminar held in Islamabad brought into focus the parallels between the RSS’s Hindutva ideology in India and Zionist ideology in Israel, particularly in their approaches towards Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine. The speakers called for international intervention to address and resolve the disputes in these regions.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the seminar centered on the current situations in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir and occupied Palestine, influenced by Hindutva-inspired India and Zionist Israel. Hurriyat leader Abdul Hameed Lone was a prominent speaker at the event, where he compared the turmoil and bloodshed in Kashmir to that in Palestine, attributing these issues to India’s adoption of Zionist policies.
Lone accused Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of following similar policies, treating the Kashmir and Palestine issues as analogous. He alleged that Indian soldiers are involved in support of Israel and pointed to cooperation between the Israeli Defense Forces (IOF) and Indian forces in Kashmir.
The Hurriyat leader criticized the international community, including the United Nations and its Security Council, for their alleged neglect of the critical situations in both Palestine and Kashmir. He urged global humanitarian organizations to pay more attention to these areas and to take action to help resolve the ongoing conflicts.
This seminar in Islamabad highlights the growing concern among certain groups about the influence of Hindutva and Zionist ideologies in these longstanding regional disputes, calling for greater international awareness and intervention.
