ISLAMABAD: Islamabad’s law enforcement leaders have undertaken a comprehensive review of security arrangements across the city to ensure public safety during the holy month of Ramadan.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operation Qazi Ali Raza conducted visits to various areas of the district. Their goal was to assess the current state of security and engage with officers stationed at key points throughout the city.

During their visit, DIG Tariq emphasized the importance of maintaining public safety and acknowledged the dedication of officers and personnel actively performing their duties at security checkpoints. He noted that special security measures have been implemented specifically for masjids and imambargahs throughout the district during Ramadan.

DIG Tariq reiterated the commitment of the Islamabad police to safeguard the lives and property of citizens. He assured that all available resources are being utilized to maintain law and order in the federal capital, and underscored that any attempts to disrupt the peace will not be tolerated.
