ISLAMABAD: In a bid to enhance security and curb criminal activities, the Islamabad Police have conducted extensive search operations across the federal capital, resulting in the thorough checking of over 340 individuals. This initiative follows the special directives issued by Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operations were carried out under the supervision of SSP Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, with oversight from the respective zonal SPs. The operations included checks on 148 households, 14 hotels, 10 shops, 171 motorcycles, and 38 vehicles. Additionally, five individuals, along with 29 vehicles and nine motorcycles, were taken to the police station for further verification.
The SSP Operations emphasized that these measures aim to tighten control over criminal elements and enhance security throughout the city. The operations are part of an ongoing effort across different areas of the district, targeting criminal elements, land grabbers, and drug dealers. The Islamabad Police have reiterated their commitment to taking indiscriminate action to maintain law and order in the capital.
