ISLAMABAD: In a concerted effort to address rising crime rates, the Islamabad Police have launched intensified search and combing operations across various sectors of the federal capital, resulting in the thorough checking of over 341 individuals. The initiative, directed by Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, aims to crack down on criminal activities and enhance security in the city.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operations were conducted under the supervision of SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza and closely monitored by the respective zonal SPs. The comprehensive searches targeted 167 households, two hotels, 22 shops, 197 motorcycles, and 76 vehicles. As a result of these efforts, 11 suspicious individuals, nine vehicles, and 30 motorcycles were taken to the police station for additional verification.
SSP Operations Islamabad has stated that the primary goal of these operations is to tighten the noose around criminal elements and further strengthen the security framework of the capital city.
