Islamabad Police Intensify Citywide Search Operations, Over 645 Individuals Checked


ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police have stepped up their efforts to combat crime with a series of comprehensive search and combing operations throughout the federal capital, resulting in the checking of over 645 individuals. This initiative comes under the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operations were carried out under the supervision of SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza and monitored by the respective zonal SPs. The operations involved thorough checks of 251 households, 28 hotels, 114 shops, 176 motorcycles, and 89 vehicles. Additionally, 17 suspicious individuals and 18 motorcycles were transported to the police station for further verification.



SSP Operations Islamabad explained that the objective of these operations is to clamp down on criminal elements and enhance security throughout the city. The operations are part of an ongoing effort to address issues related to crime, land grabbing, and drug dealing in different areas across the district.
