Islamabad Police Intensifies Search Operations to Curb Crime

ISLAMABAD: In a concerted effort to curb crime and crack down on criminal activities, the Islamabad Police have conducted a series of intensive search and combing operations across various areas of the federal capital. More than 594 individuals and numerous vehicles and establishments were checked as part of these operations, according to a press release from the Islamabad Capital Police.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operations were carried out following special directives from Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi. The initiative was supervised by SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza and monitored by the respective zonal SPs. During the operations, authorities checked 564 individuals, 594 households, 32 hotels, 105 shops, 237 motorcycles, and 151 vehicles. Additionally, 14 individuals deemed suspicious and 24 motorcycles were taken to police stations for further verification.

SSP Operations Islamabad emphasized that the objective of the operations is to tighten the noose around criminal elements and enhance security throughout the city. The Islamabad Police remain committed to taking indiscriminate action against criminal elements, land grabbers, and drug dealers in various districts.
