Islamabad Police Intensifies Search Operations, Checks Over 409 Individuals


ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police conducted extensive search and combing operations across the federal capital, resulting in the thorough checking of over 409 individuals, along with numerous households, hotels, and vehicles. These operations are part of an intensified effort to curb crime and target criminal elements in the city.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operations were carried out following special directives from Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi. Supervised by SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza and monitored by respective zonal SPs, the operations aimed to enhance security across Islamabad. During the operations, law enforcement officials checked 218 households, 31 hotels, 67 shops, 201 motorcycles, and 101 vehicles. Additionally, 12 suspicious individuals and 11 motorcycles were taken to the police station for further verification.



SSP Operations Islamabad emphasized that these search operations are intended to tighten the grip on criminal elements and ensure the safety of residents. The police are conducting similar operations in various areas throughout the district, continuing their indiscriminate actions against criminals, land grabbers, and drug dealers.
