ISLAMABAD: In an effort to curb crime and enhance security, the Islamabad Police conducted extensive search operations across the federal capital, scrutinizing over 338 individuals, according to a press release from Islamabad Capital Police. The operations, following directives from Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, aimed to crack down on criminal activities in the city.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operations were supervised by SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza and monitored by zonal SPs. The comprehensive checks included 179 households, eight hotels, 46 shops, 217 motorcycles, and 73 vehicles. Additionally, six individuals and 25 motorcycles were taken to police stations for further verification.

SSP Operations Islamabad emphasized that these efforts are part of a broader initiative to tighten security and control criminal activities. The operations are being conducted in various areas across the district, targeting criminal elements, land grabbers, and drug dealers.
