Chakothi: The banned Action Committee has faced widespread rejection from all segments of society in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, with communities in the Chakothi sector actively dismissing its call for a lockdown. Despite the committee’s efforts, normal life continued unabated, and residents were seen engaging in routine activities such as shopping for daily necessities.
According to Radio Pakistan, traders in Chakothi Bazaar convened a meeting to express their solidarity with Pakistan and the Pakistan Army. This move underscores the community’s unified stance against the banned committee’s initiatives. The rejection by traders and residents alike signifies a broader sentiment across the region, where the committee’s influence appears to be waning.
