ISLAMABAD: In a concerted effort to bolster security at churches and other key locations, the Islamabad Police have implemented comprehensive measures under the directives of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi. These initiatives are aimed at ensuring robust safety protocols across the federal capital.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, actively inspected various churches, the Capital Patrol Unit deployment, and several critical security checkpoints. During these inspections, he engaged with police officers and personnel, assessed their performance, and provided directions to enhance security measures. The inspections included evaluations of security arrangements at entry and exit points, parking areas, and the surrounding areas of the churches to ensure effective implementation of the security plan.

SSP Operations Islamabad reiterated the police force’s commitment to safeguarding all citizens, emphasizing the importance of protecting lives and property. He stressed the need for strong cooperation between the police and the community to maintain peace and security. Citizens were urged to report any suspicious activity to the nearest police station or the “Pukar-15” Police Helpline.

Concluding his inspections, SSP Operations reaffirmed that the protection of citizens and the enforcement of the rule of law remain top priorities for the Islamabad Police.
