ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police are intensifying security measures in the Diplomatic Enclave, following directives from the Inspector General of Police, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi. Under the supervision of SSP Security Division Muhammad Sarfraz Virk, officers are actively engaged in safeguarding embassies, United Nations offices, and government properties in the high-security zone.
Police officers have been instructed to maintain vigilance and ensure strict security protocols are followed. This includes thorough checks of vehicles and motorcycles entering the area and verifying the identification of all individuals with departmental ID cards.
The police force is employing all available resources to maintain order and is urging citizens to report any suspicious activities through the Pucar-15 helpline. The protection of lives and property remains a top priority for the Islamabad Police.
