Islamabad Police Conducts Security Review for Chinese Nationals


ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Capital Police has conducted a comprehensive review of security arrangements for Chinese nationals residing in the city, focusing on the use of modern technology to enhance protective measures. Deputy Inspector General of Police Security Islamabad, Rana Umar Farooq, met with the Safe City Technical Team and officers of the Special Protection Unit to assess and potentially strengthen current security protocols.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting aimed to evaluate and update the existing security and protection framework for Chinese nationals through the integration of advanced technology. DIG Security Islamabad issued directives to further streamline and modernize the security arrangements, ensuring they align with current security requirements.



In a subsequent meeting, DIG Rana Umar Farooq engaged with Muharrars of the Security Division to discuss security-related matters and office discipline. He emphasized the importance of maintaining accurate and comprehensive official records and ensuring prompt handling of security matters. He also highlighted the need for diligence and professionalism in the execution of assigned responsibilities to guarantee effective monitoring and implementation of security measures.
