Islamabad: Islamabad Police conducted a mock exercise at the Islamabad High Court Complex to handle potential emergency situations and ensure the safety of citizens, a public relations officer stated. According to Islamabad Capital Police, this exercise follows the directives of Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi and involves similar activities across different city areas to prepare for unexpected events.
Officials from various departments, including the Islamabad Police, Bomb Disposal Squad, Paramedical Staff, Fire Brigade, and other Law Enforcement Agencies, participated in the exercise. The primary aim is to manage emergencies promptly, adhering to the standard operating procedures. The police emphasize their commitment to safeguarding citizens’ lives and property, urging the public to report any suspicious activities via Pukar-15.
