Bannu: A suicide bomber targeted a civilian area outside the Police Station Domel in District Bannu, resulting in the death of five civilians, including three women and a child, and leaving four others critically injured. The attack has sparked a swift response from security forces and local rescue teams as they work to address the aftermath.
According to Radio Pakistan, security forces successfully repelled the attack by the assailants, identified as Khwarij, on the Domel Police Station located in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bannu district. The injured individuals have been transported to a local hospital where they are receiving urgent medical treatment.
Security sources reported that rescue teams, alongside local residents, are actively involved in clearing the debris from the affected site and conducting relief operations. In response to the incident, security forces have secured the area and initiated a comprehensive rescue and search operation.
