Islamabad Police Conducts Flag March to Enhance City Security

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police have undertaken extensive security measures across the federal capital, conducting a flag march to reinforce peace and tranquility in the region. This initiative follows directives from Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Captain (R) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry, and was led by SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the flag march aimed to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the city’s security apparatus. Deputy Inspector General Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq highlighted the police force’s commitment to maintaining peace and their readiness to address any potential incidents. Security has been tightened at all major entry and exit points, with the Capital Patrol squad actively monitoring various city areas. Senior police officers have been instructed to remain vigilant within their jurisdictions and ensure duty points are adequately covered from a security perspective.

Additionally, a crackdown has been initiated against violations such as one-wheeling, the use of tinted glasses, pillion riding, and vehicles without number plates. The public has been encouraged to cooperate with police checks and to report any suspicious activities via the emergency helpline Pucar-15, as authorities strive to safeguard the lives and property of Islamabad’s residents.
