Islamabad Police Conducts Crime Meetings to Enhance Investigations and Crime Prevention


ISLAMABAD: In an effort to strengthen law enforcement and expedite criminal investigations, the Islamabad Police has conducted a series of crime meetings across all zones of the city. The meetings, chaired by each of the zonal Superintendents of Police (SPs), aimed to address ongoing cases and strategize on crime prevention.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meetings were attended by key law enforcement officials, including SP City Zone Muhammad Khurram Ashraf, SP Saddar Zone Kazim Naqvi, SP Industrial Area Zone Dr. Ayaz Hussain, SP Rural Zone Zeeshan Ali, and SP Sohan Zone. Alongside them, all Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs) and Station House Officers (SHOs) participated in the discussions.



The meetings focused on a detailed review of the progress of cases currently under investigation, the overall crime situation in their respective areas, and the implementation of crime prevention measures. The zonal SPs instructed officers to ensure timely completion of investigations and to resolve cases based on merit. Emphasis was placed on avoiding unnecessary delays in delivering justice to the public.



Officials were also directed to develop effective crime prevention strategies, increase efforts against criminal elements, and maintain transparency and effectiveness in investigations. The police were urged to use all available resources to reduce crime and protect the lives and property of citizens.



The Islamabad Police reiterated its commitment to safeguarding citizens, preventing crime, enhancing policing effectiveness, and ensuring the swift handling of public complaints.
