Islamabad Police Conduct Search Operations, Check 502 Individuals

ISLAMABAD: In an effort to enhance public safety and security, the Islamabad police conducted a series of search and combing operations across various police station jurisdictions, leading to the thorough checking of 502 individuals. These operations, undertaken under the guidance of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, are part of a broader initiative to curb criminal activities in the federal capital.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operations were supervised by zonal SPs and involved the inspection of 171 houses, 18 shops, five hotels, 162 motorcycles, and 69 vehicles. As a result, 18 suspicious persons, 10 motorcycles, and one vehicle were taken to police stations for further legal proceedings.

SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza stated that the primary focus of these operations is to strengthen the security network against criminal elements and enhance the overall safety of the city. He reiterated the commitment of the Islamabad Police to continue taking decisive action against criminals, land grabbers, and drug traffickers. Raza also urged citizens to assist the police by reporting any suspicious activities to nearby police stations or through the emergency helpline “Pucar-15”.
