Islamabad Police Call for Law Adherence Among Political Parties Post-Elections


Islamabad, In a recent statement, the Islamabad Police have issued a plea to political party members and their supporters to uphold the law and abstain from engaging in vigilantism. This appeal comes in the wake of the recent elections, aiming to preserve peace and order within the federal capital.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the spokesperson for the Islamabad Capital Territory Police emphasized the importance of lawful conduct and warned that the police would take indiscriminate action against any individuals found violating the law. The statement specifically highlighted the prohibition of gatherings in high-security zones, reflecting the authorities’ commitment to maintaining public safety and security.



The police spokesperson acknowledged the peaceful conduct of elections in Islamabad and stressed that ensuring law and order in the aftermath remains a top priority for the force. He urged those with election-related grievances to seek resolution through appropriate legal channels rather than resorting to direct action that disrupts public order.



Furthermore, the spokesperson appealed to the citizens of Islamabad to contribute to the maintenance of peace by reporting any instances of unlawful activity through the police helpline 15 or the ICT-15 App. This call for civic responsibility underscores the police’s reliance on community cooperation to ensure a safe and orderly environment in the capital.
