ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police have arrested 31 individuals in connection with various criminal activities, recovering drugs, alcohol, and weapons, according to a recent press release. The ongoing operations, directed by Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, aim to enhance security and maintain peace in the capital.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, officers apprehended 10 suspects and seized 625 grams of ice, 10 bottles of liquor, and six pistols with ammunition. These arrests are part of a broader effort to combat crime, with cases registered against the suspects as investigations proceed.

In a related campaign targeting proclaimed offenders and absconders, police teams detained an additional 21 individuals. SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza emphasized the commitment of the police to safeguard the lives and property of residents, underscoring that maintaining public peace is a priority.

Authorities encourage citizens to report suspicious activities to local police stations or via the emergency helpline “Pucar-15,” fostering cooperation between the public and law enforcement to eradicate crime.
