Islamabad Police Arrest 10 Criminals, Recover Drugs and Weapons


ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police have announced the arrest of 10 individuals involved in criminal activities and the recovery of illegal substances and weapons. Police teams from the Koral, Khanna, Humak, and Bani Gala stations seized 381 grams of hashish, 730 grams of heroin, a pistol with ammunition, and two daggers during their operations.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, five of those arrested were apprehended for various criminal activities. The police have registered cases against them and are continuing their investigations. In a parallel effort, another five individuals were arrested during a special campaign targeting proclaimed offenders and absconders.



The operations are part of a broader initiative under the directives of Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, aimed at maintaining peace in the federal capital. SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza emphasized the police’s commitment to safeguarding public safety and urged citizens to report suspicious activities through the “Pucar-15” emergency helpline.
