Islamabad Police and Organizers Collaborate for Muharram Security

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police and event organizers held a strategic meeting to enhance coordination and finalize security measures for the upcoming Muharram-ul-Haram, focusing on maintaining law and order in the city.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting was led by SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza. Key attendees included ADCG Sahibzada Yousaf, SSP Security Operations Suleman Zafar, senior police officials, and organizers of religious events, as well as volunteers. The discussions centered on security protocols for Majalis and processions, traffic management, emergency response strategies, the involvement of volunteers, and coordination between organizers and law enforcement.

SSP Operations emphasized the implementation of comprehensive security arrangements for all religious gatherings during Muharram-ul-Haram. He encouraged organizers and volunteers to work closely with the security department and to report any suspicious activities promptly.

Participants of the meeting expressed their dedication to fostering peace, tolerance, and solidarity during the religious observance, pledging full cooperation with the Islamabad Police to ensure a secure environment.
