Islamabad: At a ceremony in Islamabad today, Dr. Malik Mukhtar Ahmad, Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Health, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to expanding family planning services across Pakistan. The initiative aims to address the significant reproductive health challenges faced by the country’s burgeoning population.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Mukhtar emphasized the importance of reproductive health within the government’s health agenda. He highlighted the critical need to enhance family planning services to ensure the well-being of women throughout the country.
Pakistan, with a population now exceeding 240 million, experiences considerable strains in its healthcare system, particularly in the area of reproductive health.
