Islamabad Police, January 12, 2023 (PPI-OT):Inspector General of Police Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan appreciated the police personnel for their excellent duty. According to the details, a nominated accused namely Umair Shabbir in case FIR No 504/22 of Police was on bail and appeared before the court on Wednesday.
When the Honorable court rejected the bail of the accused, the accused tried to escape from the court. The accomplices of the accused present outside the court helped the accused and scuffled with the policemen and tore the uniform.
The police officials took prompt action and arrested the accused and his two accomplices while the rest fled. Police teams conducted raids to nab the fleeing accused. The accused were shifted to the Margalla police station and started further legal proceedings.
