Ishaq Dar to Attend R-4 Foreign Ministers Meeting in Cairo, Egypt

Cairo: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar will participate in the fourth meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the R-4 Group of Countries in Cairo, Egypt, on Sunday. The meeting, hosted by Egypt’s Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty, will include counterparts from Egypt, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye to deliberate on regional developments and issues concerning peace, security, and stability.

According to Radio Pakistan, the ministers are expected to explore ways to enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest, building on the outcomes of previous R-4 meetings. During his visit, Mr. Dar will engage in bilateral consultations with Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Badr Abdelatty, and meet with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. The discussions will aim at deepening Pakistan-Egypt bilateral cooperation and exchanging views on regional and international developments.

Pakistan places significant importance on its relations with Egypt, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye. The R-4 framework signifies the countries’ shared commitment to consultation, cooperation, and coordinated efforts to promote regional peace and prosperity.
