ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar has expressed Pakistan’s firm commitment to strengthening ties with Iran across various domains, including trade, connectivity, and regional collaboration. This commitment was articulated during a meeting with Pakistan’s Ambassador-designate to Iran, Imran Ahmed Siddiqui, in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, Dar emphasized the need to sustain the positive momentum in the bilateral relationship through close coordination and mutual understanding. He reaffirmed the importance of developing cooperation in trade, enhancing connectivity, fostering people-to-people exchanges, and collaborating on regional issues.

The Deputy Prime Minister also underscored Pakistan’s role in promoting regional peace, dialogue, and stability. The discussions with Ambassador-designate Siddiqui took place as he prepared to assume his new post in Tehran, highlighting the ongoing efforts to deepen the strategic partnership between the two neighboring countries.
